These meet and exceed expectations so far. If they hold up, I would say they are well worth the price. I find them quite comfortable.
Very comfortable, very light shoes. Great quality as expected. I must say awesome sports shoes at a reasonable price.
Great shoes! They are so comfortable and already feel worn in. I have been able to do my normal daily runs and haven’t had to worry my feet were going to hurt because of new shoes. Right off the bat my feet felt great and still do. They are a good daily running shoe in my opinion
I bought these for a trip to Kauai. I wore them constantly for 3 weeks hiking, golfing, kayaking, ATVing, snorkeling, surfing- you name it! These shoes were endlessly comfortable, durable and never felt water logged or slushy. I was able to keep my feet cool in water during activities which helped with overheating. Walking on terrain was easy with the tread and being lightweight there is no fatigue. Easy to clean, great to have! They live in my trunk no for all outdoor activities!
True to size and fits like a glove - they look great and materials are quality. Nothing negative to mention. Just took a train half-way across the country and I choose these to wear onboard, -- and they were a great choice. Just ordered a second pair.
These shoes are great for outdoor water sports really comfortable and the fit is perfect. So far so good.
Not really sturdy as I expected, and they were larger than they should be, but they're okay for occasionally wearing around the pool.
As with all of my shoes, I immediately removed the insole. At first I thought this might make the shoes too roomy, but it was just right. They are very wide in the toes and super flexible. I have work them on a couple of short runs and they seem great so far. I don't expect them to hold up to a lot of hard miles, but they're cheap enough to buy again.
These shoes are better than I expected them to be. I like the fit, and they offer a true "barefoot" experience. Yes, I feel the ground through them, but that is exactly what I expected! I have owned quite a few zero-drop and barefoot shoes, and these are at least as good as some of the expensive ones I have owned. I'm not sure how long they will hold up, but for the price, I will happily replace them with another pair of these!
One bungee broke, but they are still useable. They are comfy and flexible. My first barefoot shoes so I have no idea of they fit properly or not, is there supposed to be wiggle room like normal shoes or should my toes be touching the ends?
Bought these for kayaking when barefoot isn't an option, and for walking hiking up/along water. They're fine, but I wouldn't try wearing them anywhere dry or as hiking shoes unless you're hiking up a stream bed the entire time. They are not very breathable, and your feet will get real hot if the shoe isn't wet. For kayaking in the summer I'd actually probably take them off while paddling because of this, too. But when it's a bit cooler out they'd be good.
Amazing for price. Entry level barefoot shoe that is still like new after daily walking for a month. I have flat feet and nothing worked. My shins always hurt when walking. After a 2 week transition period my shins stopped hurting. I think it has helped because it forces the muscles in my arch to get stronger and stabilize. Which has helped everything else. I don't know if the combination of numbers insoles and barefoot shoes was an accident or if it's a thing people do already... but I was able to eliminate my shin pain and walk normally. Try it. It's cheap, plus the insoles were cheap. Maybe it can help you too. :) (I went with a smaller size for a snug fit. They are wide so you only have to worry about length of foot in sizing, not width)
I hate Shoes!! I LOVE THESE!! I'm a naturalist and I love the feeling of freedom I have wearing no shoes. But... there are times one must put shoes on, store, restaurant etc. I cant wait to get another pair. I love how these shoes allow your feet to breath. I also have an old runner's injury and my foot swells pretty much anytime I walk on it. I usually have to wear my shoe as a slipper just to get thru the day. Not with these!! My foot can swell and I'm not in pain. Super traction, breezy, comfortable too. And they look great!
These shoes are what I was looking for. Plenty of room for my toes to spread out, no heel and my feet can feel everything I’m walking on but the sole protects against sharp rocks, etc.. a minimalist shoe for sure. Great for the price. My size wasn’t available because they only have half sizes so I went up a half. They are slightly too big but again, for the price they are keepers.
I usually go barefoot around the house as it is more gentle on my joints and spine than wearing any type of heel. These shoes are the next best thing. Wearing them is as comfortable as being barefoot, but with a whole lot more traction and protection from the elements. I purchased two pair and will likely purchase additional pairs in the future. I believe they will be perfect for walking on the treadmill also.
I love these shoes! I have started dance-walking (cross between dance and power-walking) at the gym at work. The floors are really slick and my Rykas slide around. These shoes have a really good grip. I am in no danger of sliding or slipping in these. They're very light-weight too. I've never had barefoot shoes or minimalist shoes but I'm sold on these.
I usually don't order shoes before trying them on, and I risked ordering these this time; they are great looking; fit very well and are very comfortable! I especially enjoy the room my toes have to stretch and separate, which is pure pleasure and health for my toes!
I can't believe I'm saying this... I like them better than my Vibram 5-fingers. :o The insole is removable, the toe box is perfect. I can wear over bunion splint and/or toe spreaders. My toes have more freedom of movement than with 5-fingers shoes. Wear these with toe socks - you'll love them!
These shoes are amazing. The first time I wore them one heel did start to blister but I wore socks with them for about a week to wear in the shoes. Now I can wear them with or without socks. I love these shoes and I like the bit extra cushion they have over the vibrams. Also you can't beat the price on these. Will buy another pair soon
This shoe is very comfortable and fits perfect. I have been wearing barefoot/minimalist shoes for several years. The outer soles are thicker than my Merrell minimalist which I like as I feel small stones on the bottom of my feet in the Merrell. These shoes are more comfortable. They also have a removable inner sole which is lacking in the Merrell. The quick lacing is a plus and the outer material softer than the Merrell and conforms more to the foot. Not sure how durable it is. They are slightly heavier than the Merrell, nothing significant, and more flexible than the Merrell which is another plus. The price is great! I have no clue how long they will last, that is to be determined. I will be buying these again!
I usually buy Vibram toe shoes , but they have a hefty price tag. So I opted for these to compare, because of the toe shaping. Really love them and they have a bit of a cushion so they are more supporting then the toe shoes.
Really comfy, extremely light weight shoes. Meant to be worn without socks. My feet sweat a little in them but not bad enough that it would be uncomfortable. The insoles have a nice padding to them. Overall I’m just extremely impressed with how comfortable these really are!
Wow, I love these shoes! I have the barefoot Merrill’s, but their sole is so thin it wears out quickly if you walk on hard surfaces. Plus the toe box really isn’t wide. These shoes are so much better! They have thicker soles so I can wear them hiking on rocks, the toe box is huge, and they feel so comfortable. They are more flexible than the Merrill’s. I love to wear them. They are also nicer than the Merrill’s and half the price. They did rub the back of my heel initially, but I got a size too big and just had to tighten them. They are true to size. I usually have to wear a 9.5 in a Nike because they are so narrow, but wear a 9 in these. You will love these, they are really great shoes. Kind of funny-looking, but so comfortable.
It looks so weird at first since the toe box is wider than normal. But I decided to give it a try. Feel completely amazing at the first time. It fits very well. My toes can move a little bit inside the shoes. The lace is so easy to tie and untie. The bottom was designed to avoid being slipped. Another difference is even though they do not have breath holes like others, but I do not feel hot or sweating when running in these. Absolutely love these.
Great pair of running shoes. I’ve Been wearing these for about 2 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was only wearing them while I was running but now I tend to wear them everywhere. Extremely light weight. The elastic shoe lace allow for a good snug fit without the loose laces hanging out. Highly recommend these to someone looking for this type of running shoe!
I bought these with the intent of using them as water shoes, but I have been wearing them everywhere! Great fit and extremely light weight and comfortable. They pull on easily with the heal tab and sinch up quick with the speed laces. I have worn them on a couple of trail runs and you can really get a feel for the terrain beneath your feet. Great shoes!
